What is Assam ADRE 3.0? Why is it Important?
ADRE stands for Assam Direct Recruitment Examination. This is conducted by SLRC to fill Grade 3 and Grade 4 posts in various departments of Assam Government like Secretariat, DC Office, Education Department, Health Department, PWD, etc.
ADRE 1.0 was conducted in 2022 and ADRE 2.0 in 2023-24 where more than 12,000 posts were filled. Due to huge success and transparency, Assam Govt has decided to continue this process. ADRE 3.0 is expected to be the biggest recruitment drive in 2026 for Assam's educated youth.

Assam ADRE Grade 3 Expected Vacancy 2026 - Previous Pattern

ADRE 3.0 Grade 3 Eligibility Criteria 2026 (Expected)
Eligibility is based on ADRE 2.0 notification. Final eligibility will be confirmed in official PDF only.
1. Age Limit
- General Category: 18 to 40 Years
- OBC/MOBC Category: 18 to 43 Years (3 Years Relaxation)
- SC/ST Category: 18 to 45 Years (5 Years Relaxation)
2. Educational Qualification
- Must be Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Must have minimum 6 months Computer Diploma / Certificate.
- Candidates must have knowledge of Assamese language.
- Must be Permanent Resident of Assam and must have Valid Employment Exchange Registration Number of Assam.
ADRE 3.0 Selection Process - How You Will Be Selected?
As per previous pattern, selection will be done in two stages:
Stage 1: Written Examination (OMR Based) - 175 Marks
Stage 2: Computer Skill Test / Stenography Test (For some posts) and Document Verification.
There will be no interview for Grade 3 and Grade 4 posts as per Assam Govt rule. This makes the process fully merit-based and transparent.
