The Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), Guwahati has released the notification for ANM Admission 2026 Assam. Female candidates who have passed HS (10+2) can apply for 2-year Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) course in various Govt. Nursing Schools of Assam.

For this SSUHS ANM Admission 2026, online applications are invited for Government ANM Training Schools under Directorate of Health Services (FW), Assam.

Eligibility Criteria for ANM Admission Assam
Candidates must fulfill all criteria as per Indian Nursing Council (INC) norms:
1. Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 in any stream (Science preferred) with minimum 40% marks from a recognized board like AHSEC/CBSE. 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English is given preference.
2. Age Limit:
Minimum Age: 17 years as on 31st Dec 2026
Maximum Age: 35 years. No age relaxation for general, but as per Govt. rules for reserved categories.
3. Residential Criteria:
Applicant must be a Permanent Resident of Assam and must produce Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) of Assam at the time of admission.
4. Other Criteria:
- Only unmarried/married female candidates are eligible.
- Must be medically fit.
- Must have proficiency in Assamese or local language.
SSUHS ANM Entrance Exam Pattern 2026
Selection will be based on entrance examination conducted by SSUHS. Merit list will be prepared based on exam marks.

- Total Marks: 100 Marks
- Subjects: English (20), Science (30), Mathematics (20), GK & Reasoning (30)
- Duration: 2 Hours
- Negative Marking: No negative marking
